It is used for sealing, fairing, priming, and surface applications, adhering well to fiberglass, metal, wood, MDF, brick, and concrete. It is applied by Spray Lay-Up process but hand lay up for non-critical tools will work. Will except high gloss coatings, lacquers and polyurethane paints. Will fill imperfections on surface and sands to a smooth surface. Great for surface buildups of up to 20 mils thick or 2-3 coats. Can be thinned with MEK solvent. Shake all cans before using. Please check MSDS for any working condition requirements.

Instructions for Use:

Surface Preparation
The surface should be clean, dry, and free from wax or grease. Working ambient temperature should be above 60F for adhesion and product cure. For best adhesion, sand the surface with 40-100 grit paper, then clean sanded surface with a clean, lint-free cloth.

Mixing
Premix material in can prior to use. Catalyze @ 2% by weight (20 cc per Quart) with MEKP catalyst. Can be thinned with MEK (from 10-40%). Do not mix more than can be applied within 15 minutes @ 77F.

Applying
Apply a fine “tack coat” over the entire surface and allow to flash for 2 minutes. Next, follow with 2-3 “wet passes”, slowly building to the desired thickness of 10-40mils. Heavier thickness can be achieved by repeating the process immediately after gel has occurred. Primer will be dry to the touch in 1-4 hours, depending upon the thickness and ambient temperature, and is ready for sanding within 2- 4 hours.
