E-108SP WC is a Bisphenol-A epoxy resin and H-499 is a Polyoxypropylene-amine hardener, which can be used in various clear coating applications, i.e., wood, resin, and other surfaces, and in thin cast applications.

1) Excellent Impact Resistance
2) Low Viscosity
3) Excellent Water Resistance
4) Water Clear
5) Alkali Resistance

Applications: E-108SP-WC is a laminating decoupage epoxy with good transparency and low viscosity, which cures to a hard, durable surface. This material has great adhesion to multiple surfaces and easily wets out. Use E-108SP-WC/H-499 system as a coating over polyester clear casted resin to improve a clear finish, encapsulate objects, or to add a protective hard coating to a surface.

Mixing Instructions:
Mix epoxy base and hardener by specified ratio as listed above by weight. Mix well by hand or mechanical mixer. Be sure to scrape sides and bottom or transfer to another container for best mix. For best results, de-air at 29 inches of mercury or pressurize for 5 -10 minutes before pouring. Thick pours may be successful in multiple pours, the first being thin to allow air to flow out. E-108SP-WC will cast with slight yellow tint in sections over 1\4 inch thickness. Transparent Dyes are available: red, yellow, blue and black.

Storage:
Store at room temperature or below 90F. Keep out of sunlight or away from heat. For cold materials, warm-up materials by a hot water bath (place unmixed containers in a plastic bag first and allow 15 minutes for material to absorb heat) prior to mixing. When handling, please refer to MSDS.
